Hi, I came across this post doing some research on Maple Syrup. I just tried some for the first time from Costco and don't think I am going to processed syrup. I have one recommendation for your granola recipe. Try using less syrup and some honey. That should help with keeping everything together.

Hey lady! I was gearing up to send you a note that said "I miss your posts" and then saw that you had written something today! Glad to 'hear' your voice again, and I certainly hope the house-selling goes well.

We've never had the house-selling restriction on our food, but sometimes we do need something quick and easy. Our current go-to meal is scrambled eggs -- fast, easy, and simple to change around with odds and ends from the fridge. Hummus and pita with veggies is also a quick dinner for us. Now that the weather is warming up (a bit), we're cooking more on the grill outside -- that's a good way for a hot meal with less smell and clean-up in the house. Good luck!

Maybe you could try and go all crazy on that liver and make some beef liver ice cream. Or, perhaps a beef liver smoothie? You know how they sometimes add spinach to smoothies on the Vita-Mix commercials and you never even know it's in there? Maybe the same would work for liver. I don't know, I'm just saying . . . :)
